Tuesday through Saturday, 11am – 4pm
Labor Day – Columbus Day
Friday and Saturday, 11am – 4pm
After Columbus Day, open by chance or appointment.

The Belfast Historical Society and Museum is dedicated to the collection, conservation, preservation and interpretation of artifacts relevant to Belfast history. Visitors to the Museum will enjoy vintage photographs, maps, postcard collections and interpretive displays. An extensive archives and library are available for research.

Become a member of the Belfast Historical Society and Museum! Your membership assists various valuable Museum programs and you will receive a newsletter keeping you informed about Historical Society and Museum news, events and programs.

Student: $5 | Individual: $10 | Family: $15
Contributing: $25 | Business: $30 | Sustaining: $50 | Lifetime: $250

Historical Society Program Meetings

What Informative programs include guest speakers, slide shows and discussions.
When Once a month, February through October. Usually at 7pm (check schedule).
Where At the Abbott Room, Belfast Free Library, 106 High Street.
Cost Meetings are FREE and open to the public.
